Enhancing the factory 3.5 EB BAP exhaust?

Hi all,

I've tried searching the forum, and I'm wondering if anyone that may happen to have the 3.5 eco boost with the BAP dual rear exhaust has perhaps upgraded the mid pipe, resonators, mufflers? I like the stock exhaust for the most part - I really like the duals and the black tips, at start-up it sounds awesome, but curious if I can add a tiny more bit of volume and a little more grunt up high in the rpm band? I'm thinking that replacing some component of the stock system should achieve what I want. I don't want anything too loud, or that has a lot of drone, or tries to grab at everyone's attention within 100-200 feet of the truck..

Delete resonator(s), replace muffler(s) with Magnaflow flow-through long-body style. Call it a day on anything else IMO… it’s as “good” *totally subjective* as an EB engine will be able to sound.

Check YouTube for the black widow 250 muffler on 3.5 TT. It's bad ass.

In my humble opinion , the best exhaust set up for the EB is stock.
They sound horrible with anything done to them
Now the one thing i would consider is the new Raptor equal length set up.
Wonder if Ford offers this set up for the second gen ?

I might look into adding just the BW 250 mufflers. I worry that doing more would make it too aggressive.

Thanks for the opinion. I was surprised at how pleasant the BW was. I don’t disagree with you though for the most part. Perhaps I should just get the JB4 and leave the exhaust as-is..

you will enjoy the JB4 for sure ..I just love the low end torque! Good luck

Wondering how the JB4 impacted your mpgs? I get that if it makes you drive with more of a lead foot than before it's a moot question, but curious to hear as I have been working on my driving habits/style to better mpgs.

I did this. Good bit of additional sound & zero drone. I don't think I will be doing anything else with the exhaust.
