Edit profile signature pic

Awhile back I ran across a thread on how to edit profile pic in signature. Someone had put a link to where you can change the size of the pic or whatever to make it work. Does anyone remember that site or the thread

Running Windows? Freeware MS Paint will let you crop and / or resize pics and do text overlay if you want for your profile avatar (panel to the left side of posts) or a pic inserted in your signature block (see mine below).

Just FYI my avatar (left panel) is a 1000x1000 pixel png file (MS paint lets you start with most any picture file-type and save as png or whatever you prefer)

The pic in my signature block is a 160x40 pixel png file (I resized it several times to find a size that I liked for my sig block)

I don't have anything widows. I do want to get a laptop to try forscan tho.
One I'm talking about was a site that you just pick your pic from your phone and resize it so it'll be able to be used as signature pic. It was very easy and used on phone.
