Looking to install an Eaton E-Locker in my 2023 STX- it's 4wd but open diffs. pros / cons (besides price here in N. Utah it's like 2500 bucks total) I don't do hard-core rock crawling anymore, but I'd like to go down to moab with a little more confidence. I'm not new to Off-roading. but this is my first 4x4 with open diffs. any help here?

My XL RCSB came with e locker in the rear so for the front, I chose the same Torsen LSD that they put in Raptors and Tremors. I figured they are designed to last forever and do not need to be wired.

Now that I think about it, a Spartan lock right style would probably work well in the front 8.8. It doesn’t lock until you are in 4wd and with the auto hubs on our rigs it should be transparent and fully open in 2WD.
