Dumb question on wheels... can I replace my 20" factory wheel with 17" Enkei RPT1 Wheels?

In 30 years of owning vehicles, I've never actually changed the wheels from factory. However, I may be picking up an offroad trailer that has 17" Enkei RPT1 Wheels with BFG K02 35" tires. I believe the previous owner had a Raptor so used these wheels on the truck so you could interchange them and carry one spare. I've been thinking about changing out my wheels anyway and these look cool enough, but I have no idea if it's a "drop in" replacement on a '21 Platinum Powerboost with the 20" factory wheels and tires.

I read things about leveling, spacers, etc. and then see some tire websites that say this combo fits, and others that say "no bueno" so I'm lost.

Not entirely sure on specifics, but I believe if you have the max tow package, you need 18's at a minimum to clear the rear brake calipers.

I was going to say typically you can go up or down in wheel size as long as you adjust your tire size so your speedo isn't all out of whack, or manually correct that too.

The other thing is with newer vehicle with bigger brakes, you may not be able to go down to small or you won't clear the caliper, like Eskram was saying.
