What I did to diagnose myself.... Get cruising down the road at speed until vibration occurs...put transmission in neutral.....see if vibration is the same....if it continues the same I would think not the driveshaft and more than likely a tire issue. My truck the vibration issue drastically was reduced when shifted to neutral. I had both tire and driveshaft vibrations. Two separate issues. First the driveshaft was replaced and the tires afterwards. It was a battle and headache to get this done but worth it..I have Hankook tires not Pirelli but they suk too!! LOL : ) They replaced two of the four original tires and still shimmy/shake. With them replacing your driveline/driveshaft do you think that it being off will effect the differential/transmission/etc... ? All the math matters, I believe. IDK...
