Diode Dynamics Headlight Updates?

Has anyone received and installed Diode Dynamics elite max headlights yet they were suppose to ship out in April? Debating between selling bi leds, hcm, and conversion harnesses and going that route but would like to see more pics on trucks.

Good morning!

Our Elite and Elite Max headlights were originally planned to ship in April.

Unfortunately, they're now shipping in June to customers with pending orders. This update was provided by our customer service team by email to any customers waiting for a pre-ordered set.

While this isn't the news everyone wanted to hear, we do promise to those that are patient will proudly be receiving the highest-performance F-150 headlamps on the market!

Plus, we're the ONLY manufacturer designing, engineering, and assembling these units in-house here at our HQ in St.Charles, Missouri.

If I were to place an order today, what's the expected ETA?

I was told late June would be the first orders which are from way back in late 2022. If you order now I can't imagine you're seeing this for a long time.

I ordered in Nov and am not too thrilled about the delays. I do hope they actually ship in late June. If they had good competitors I'd already have bought someone elses product. Worst case I go oem retrofit.

The delay and 8-12 week projected timeline doesn't exude any confidence. To me its just a placeholder and they really have no idea. I've decided to not order and revisit in the Summer/Fall.

They also deleted a comment on their page asking when they were coming. Pretty weak PR on DD's part. They knew they weren't coming in well before late April(they were still testing the products) but I am sure they didn't want the 6-7 figures in orders to cancel.

I'll probably end up cancelling if these aren't in hand by July 1 and just do the OEM's.

Let's hope the quality doesn't suffer because they are pinched on time and preorders.
