I've got a 2022 F-150 eco boost XLT that came in end of September to replace my 2007 F-150 that finally died. The new truck has been fantastic, so far. I got the s/w update that addressed the turbo wastegate position sensor issue and that's been my only REAL issue. The 2 points below are ones that I'm trying to figure out if I'm the only one that sees these, if they're real issues, or if others have had similar issues and if there is some way to address:
1. Cruise control does not set occasionally. Probably 10% of the time? enough to notice, but not be totally horrible. When I engage the cruise control at cruising speed (75mph for example) it works most of the time. However, it will occasionally say it was set to 15mph (minimum, I assume) or turn on and be "ready to set". Next attempt it works just fine. Again, this is a minor frustration and I haven't been in to a dealer to discuss. I didn't see this behavior in a forum search, so I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong, if there's some condition that I'm missing that causes it not to set, or if it's a real glitch in my system.
2. Turn signal does not automatically disengage on some turns. With my previous F-150 the turn signal would recognize a turn even on an exit ramp and disengage, always. With my new F-150 I've been driving several times recently and realized that my turn signal was still on from a previous turn. I'm trying to figure out if the turn recognition is not as sensitive as it was in the older truck? or should it be disengaging and it's not? Feature or bug?
