Hey everyone, first time posting since I couldn’t find an answer anywhere else and I’ve been having issues finding a solution with my dealer.

I have a 23 F-150 Platinum PB making a clicking/scrapping noise when accelerating, breaking, and sometimes going over bumps. We believed it originally was the Max tow recall on the rear axle because it got progressively worse and later went away as recall got done but its back. Bringing tomorrow to service again so the manager can help out with investigating the situation and maybe having a Ford engineer take a look at it as well. I’ve attempted to attach three videos. One at night is when I first started hearing it, the second one is when it got worse, and the last one is 3 days after the recall being done.

Any info from experience or input I would gladly appreciate. It has been a very frustrating experience.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

Hey Alexander,
I wasn’t able to have the issue resolved. Ford got in contact with me to help and they said I would have to leave the truck at the dealership when the issue happens. But it doesn’t always happen so its hard to duplicate. The video isn’t enough proof for them to get it taken care or investigate more since they can’t duplicate. Its annoying but unfortunately I have to deal with it. If you can have it duplicate on the spot at the dealer then they can help you try and figure out with one of their engineers
