Hello guys, I’m still new to this whole forum thing so sorry if I’m using this wrong. But I’m in desperate help to get the “Check Headlamp System” cleared. Quick story of how it came about.
I have a 2022 Raptor non-37 package. I upgraded front UCA, tie rods, Fox FRS 3.0, and on 37s now. No issues after I completed those modifications. Only thing since day 1 was I noticed the wipers didn’t work on the auto setting.
Then early this year in January Ford kept calling me about a recall (the one most, if not all Raptors got) and offered a mobile person to come to my house to do it. So I thought why not.
The day comes and the mobile guy said it’s mainly just a software update and change the motor for the wiper blade. So he went ahead and did that, also offered to warranty my battery since he noticed voltage was low.
After he did the programming the truck was turned off and restarted. Since the restart this message will pop up. It doesn’t pop up while driving, just at every single start up and you have to press OK to clear it. Then it doesn’t come back until next start up.
I brought to two of my local dealers, they said they will take care of it. A week later they tell me that is because of my aftermarket suspension, which I told them was bullshit. Never had any issues after changing the suspension. Only had this issue ever since they performed the recall.
I’ve tried ignoring it all this time but lately just getting annoyed of it. If anyone has sealed with this and remedied it please let me know. Thanks in advance.
