I have a 20 foot garage and it fits by a couple of inches. It fits the same as my 2017. It depends on the way the rails come down because of the top of the tailgate. My garage has a concrete wall so I put carpet on the front to bump up against. Maybe the dealership would let you take one and try it before buying. Or CurryBob is not far off, he could come over and try his.
It looks like it is currently unavailable but I'm sure there are other brands, but I HIGHLY recommend a laser parking system. It is activated by the garage door opener vibration (for about 30 seconds I think) and I pick a spot centered on my passenger glove box to I can line up exact every single time left-right and front-back. No dangling tennis balls or stubbing toes on parking blocks/mats.
At my condo parking garage I back up against a concrete wall, but I gorilla taped two 4x4 wood blocks under my back tires the first time I lined up within 1 inch of the wall. Complete peace of mind every time! Within 1 inch of the wall so I don't stick out much into the traffic lane, and it has stayed in place for 3.5 years now.
