Hi everyone,

This is a heads up, I was reading through my messages on the FordPass app to find out that the $2100 cad I paid for the active drive assist option, that navigation and BlueCruise are only “complimentary” for three years and after it ends you have to pay a subscription fee. My salesman confirmed this, after the fact.

How can be “complimentary” when I paid for it?!

When I was building my truck there was no small print about this and the dealership didn’t tell me.

The more you know!

I don't remember were I saw it, but it was on something from Ford. Maybe the build sheets? But it broke down the costs for the prep and part of it was the 3yr subscription. 600 or 900, I dont remember.

For the navigation I'm guessing we can use Apple Carplay or Android Auto with mapping software to replace the subscription service.

The BlueCruise from the beginning was (I thought) understood to be a paid service. Now the first year is "complimentary" but because I consider it to be a safety feature I just might subscribe when the year is up. We'll see.
