I just seen an article that Ford releasing blue Cruise 1.5 on the Mustang

They just moved out Automatic Lane Change from 1.4 to 1.5. You can easily enable this in Forscan if you have the right sotware installed on your APIM/IPMA modules.

Ive had assisted lane change for months at this point with the changes and TBH I turned it off...its too careful and slow for me. I prefer to hit the blinker and make my move.

I've been tinkering since 1.2, but I had to make the following changes in the APIM to get the toggles.

Thats all thats available right now as far as I have figured out. Perhaps someone has figured out how to enable the 1.5 functionality where it does it without you triggering it but I havent seen it posted anywhere and havent found it in forscan myself.

Im re-reading the BC1.5 announcement and I think there is some clever wording.
Assisted Lane Change (1.4) where you hit the turn signal and it changes for you.
Automatic Lane Change (1.5) where it detects a car in front and goes around all on its own.

Ive been waiting for a 2025 Mach-E to hit the lot somewhere so i can pull down its asbuilt data and start comparing IPMA values but no such luck yet. Maybe Ill install BBC update and see if theres any immediate differences.

Any idea what is in the BBC Strat version? Trying to decide if its worth my time if I already have LCA and PSA working.

I noticed no improvement over the ACJ version I had and you have now. It is newer software and there is at least one file in it with a 2025 part number, so there has to be some kind of improvement you would think, but whatever it is, it is not noticeable. At least it wasn't to me.

Yes. The only feature it does not have is the automatic lane change when there’s a slow vehicle in front of you that’s in 1.5.
I wonder if the BBC version just has the changes that people were doing in forscan to enable everything.

Yes it will move over in the lane to give extra space.

According to Ruge that is not in the BBC update.
