Not crazy at all, just make sure you do rear shocks too. 5100 or 5160 will provide a noticable difference in the rear towing.

How crazy would I be if I bought a set and put it at the stock location for towing?
Nothing wrong with that at all. We actually get quite a few customers that have us assemble their 6112s at the stock setting to maintain rake, but still upgrade their shocks up front overall with the Bilsteins.
