TLDR: avoid these people like the plague.
Saw some good reviews elsewhere and stopped researching this vendor in my rush to get going on a project... At this stage in life I should know better, so my bad!
Placed an order a month ago. Shipping was slow, packaging a bit sketchy, and one of the very small cheap items was defective. Not worth my time complaining.
10 days ago I try again. Big Mistake
Issues:
1. They are a drop shipper and depend on dealers so your order will get split. Mine did both times.
2. They take no responsibility for poor packing et al, so you are rolling the dice. Worse yet, they use USPS so slow is guaranteed. My box got to the post office damaged and empty. Heavy metal auto parts need good packing.
3. Their customer service response is a "too bad, so sad" and a middle finger. They want to charge me restocking on an undelivered item and also charge shipping.
I understand things happen in business but how you respond is important. Ford Parts Giant clearly does not care.
Thankfully my order was around $100 so not the end of the world. Never again with these people. Lesson learned.
Now I get to dispute the charge with my CC company and reorder elsewhere.
