Happen to have a link. I may be interested in a half one as I don't think I'd want to lose all the storage. Even tho it is empty at the monent. Lmao. Just to know I have it I guess.
Use the link above from Apollo optics, the one at realtruck is sold out with 12-week backorder.

329 for the half
i found another website that says it wont fit a King Ranch?? i am thinking its the work surface console, of which is not a KR exclusive item
i need to look closer at mount. three screws into plastic is not very secure
Mine will have the bracket that’ll secure it but if you do end up getting the screws one, go to your local hardware store and get longer ones. It’ll bolt through to the truck and won’t move. I see the first gen has 3 screws; put 4 instead.

It will fit KR with work surface. This video below is a work surface top.

I forgot to add that the console lid was droopy, and would not stay open when getting into the vault, which was very annoying with it falling down. I did the coin hack, and added a few nickels under the springs to make them tighter, and the lid is not as droopy. If you search on YouTube f150 console coin hack there are a few videos on it.

Looking to reach out to those who installed the E&G half console vault for our 14th gens? Just place an order for one earlier today, is set to be delivered next week from US to Canada. Have a few questions to ask!

**picture below used as reference of the same one, not my photo.

I had no idea this even existed, I installed a full one but I like the idea of a gun safe and still have use of most of the console, interested to see how you like it.

i read install sheet, looks pretty easy and yes i think a bolt at least into something substantial would be better

You’re welcome! That is odd!

Pretty simple on either one, I just recommend the one the above me never has, get a longer self tapping screw so it goes into the truck. More secure that way!

Any update regarding whether there was an update for this safe to include the metal bracket and bolts to secure it to the bottom on the console ?

The 3 self-taping screws seems completely insufficient.

I wish the full size safe had a larger opening. I don't care for the lack of retention with this safe.

Sorry for the delay, it’s been a crazy few weeks with work since I work out of town. So yes the first one came with it for my 21 XLT however the second one I ordered for my 22 Lariat, didn’t come with a bracket.

For the second one that didn’t come with the bracket, I drilled 3 more additional holes and got longer self-tapping screws from my local Home Depot. The way the holes looked, there should be 3 holes already when you get it; drill 3 more so it’s 2 on the left, 2 middle and 2 right (2-2-2). Self tap the longer self tapping screws down and you’re set. It’s been over a month with the one without the bracket and doing this; so far zero rattles and near dang impossible to remove because the lid console piece blocks you from removing it. The screws secure it down. Zero issues so far!

So you really can’t go wrong with either.

What were the length of the longer self tapping screws you used? I'm about to do this and don't want to go too long and drill through the body sheet metal.

The safe Tuffy makes has a large opening and that is why I went with it instead of the OEM safe.

Did ya have to take off the cover on the underside of the armrest? One video I watched had that as a critical part of installation because you had to wiggle, curse, pray to Jesus, and hold your tongue just right all the time to get it to go in. Which did build confidence in the idea that someone couldn't just rip it out with a short pry bar.

I don't know if Tuffy makes a half console or not but for a produce I've never used I trust Tuffy just from all the reports/reviews I've seen in the Jeep world. Really love the idea of their underseat vaults for passenger side Jeep seats. Mounts with the seat mount bolts. I'm probably gonna get a half console safe at some point.

I did have to take that cover off to get the safe installed and even then it was a tight fit. That being said, I think all of these safes will protect against an opportunist but if someone really wants to get in there it won't be that difficult.

Still, the added piece of mind I get is well worth it.

That’s probably the same one I saw a video of.
