Anyone install 2024 OEM LED bed lights

Was wondering if anyone has added oem led bed lights? I checked and it doesn’t have the dummy plugs like previous years. I did find a harness for 19-20 that might work that changes out all the wiring from harness by hitch to taillights.

Is for the 19-20 says will work with led tail lights, one website said wouldn’t work with bliss so not sure if it will work.

I don't have my 2024 yet but the jumper harness from the tail light body harness to the bed lights is essentially the same as 2023. They may have just removed the dummy plug as a cost save.

I will look closer but on the 23 it had a pigtail with a cap (dummy plug) one on drive and passenger side by bumper that you would just pop cap of and plug in for lights and switch.

I'm interested in finding a solution for this also.

I'm guessing Ford removed the two connector plugs and their associated wiring back to the large connector that's a few feet further upstream.
I'm hoping we can get the wire colors from the 2023 and prior connectors. Using those we might can confirm the wires are on the upstream side of the large connector plug. If so, to get this working we would likely just need to add those wires to the downstream side of the large connector and run them towards the back of the truck in the smaller harness or replace that downstream harness completely with a prior year's.

It would also be interesting to know the wiring colors used on a 2024 that has bed light also. My assumption is it will match the 2023 and prior, but not sure.

If anyone has drawings or wire colors please post them.

I’d love to figure this out too. Found a video online where it was done on a 2021-2023 I see the tail light harness is a different part number from mine on my 2024. Part number in the video is “ML3T-13A409-JAJ” and on my 2024 XLT it is “RL3T- 13A409- BBD” I believe this is the harness that controls tail lights and trailer lights and somehow would tie into the bed lights… but I can be completely wrong. I would like to find out someone with a 2024 who has factory bed lights what their part number is for this harness. Not sure how involved it would be to swap out if this is even what would need to be changed. See photos.

Edited: Looking online for other harnesses it seems to be the harnesses that have a “J” somewhere in the last 3 codes. I’ll attach some pictures of what I found online (last two images) ideally probably would need to see what part number is on a 2024 with factory oem lights from ford.

I have been working with my dealer since May trying to figure it out. Thought they figured it out then told me was oem style. I said no I want oem, these tied into cargo lamp then run wire from it to bed lights. Pretty much like the Starkey bed lights.

the starkey one is gonna be my last resort. I like the button in the bed for the factory one lol

I probably would just do without rather than installing the starkey ones. I like the switch in bed also and the way starkey ones are wired seems cheap to me. Not factory like at all. Bad part waiting to get Linex bed liner until I get bed lights figured out.
