I just replaced a cracked front windshield on my 21' F-150 XLT with the 360-camera system. After the windshield was replaced, the technician at the glass replacement shop went to "recalibrate" my front camera (apparently, something needed after windshield replacement). After many attempts, the tech informed me the recalibration was failing, and I needed to take my truck to the dealership for troubleshooting.

Has anyone else run into this problem before?

Yes, I had the same problem. Glass tech told me up front that his scanner may or may not work to recalibrate my new windshield. In my case his scanner did not work with my truck 2021 STX 2.7L. I had to go to the dealer ship. At the dealership they also had troubles connecting their scanner to my truck. It took them an hour to get it to work. I think it is absolute BS that a windshield ( or camera built within the windshield ) has to be calibrated to work. Man I miss the good ole days of simplicity.

many factors
is it a OEM windshield?
camera should not have moved as its not attached to glass, but dirt or anything cold have touched lense.
and yes its quirky, light, dust, sun etc
i had mine done right after i bought it because i thought lane centering was off, it took tech over an hour to get the porridge just right ?
