On a couple of occasions, I have seen crazy wrong outside temperature readings when starting the truck. Like reading in the mid 90’s F when it is really in the mid 60’s. It does come down (at ~ 1 deg F / sec) after running for a while. But the side effect is if you remote start with the comfort settings set to auto, it will set up the truck HVAC and seats based on this incorrect reading.
So when the truck was remote started in with an outside temperature in the mid 60’s F, the AC was on LOW and the seats were cooling, I assume due to the fact the truck was perceiving an outside temperature in the mid 90’s F..
