Antenna snapped off 2022 F-150

I’ve been pondering ditching the big antenna for something more sleek. It really does look silly when driving in a wing storm and it bounces everywhere. Anyone who got the smaller ones who can comment on functionality?

I have this on our f150 and Superduty!

Fully flexible, I have not tested it in a car wash. I thought is was made in the US but am unable to see that now.
