So, in the interest of more profit, ford is decontenting the xl, while raising the price of course. Sure am glad I got my '24.

Yeah, I'm not disputing the benefits of hardware Sirius vs an app. I'm simply presenting a workaround to get more play choices based on what's possible, since OP has a 25 and those aren't supposed to include Sirius hardware. Bluetooth it does have though.

Before phone is connected via Bluetooth it shows 3 buttons, which changes to 4, and adds android auto button after it's connected. All play options, Pandora, Sirius, iHeartRadio etc goes through the android auto interface.

There's only 3 buttons on my screen, Am, FM and phone. Can take a pic tomorrow.

On the plus side, just changed phone subscription from a plan with only 2 or 3 GB data to 70gb data for same price. So no problem using the app data wise.
Interesting.

I'm very intrigued by the OP's situation then. Is Sirius something they took and put back in like some other things, or is his truck really a 24, or does it have left over parts?

Haven’t had Sirius for years. Bought my truck and it included a 3 month subscription. Can’t say I was all that impressed- DJ’s yapped way too much about inconsequential stuff, playlists were repetitive, and too much cutting out (mountains, lotsa trees). Wouldn’t be worth the subscription for me.

I don't think sirius is really needed. I pay for Apple Music already. I can hold the talk button on my steering wheel and just call out what song i want to hear and it plays it, then goes into other music i may like based on that song.
