3D Printed MagSafe phone holder

Hello.

Since my truck didn't come with the wireless charger, I decided to design one myself. This is my first TinkerCAD design, so be nice

I have included the link to the design. I have printed it as a whole, but then had some issues getting the charge cable notch support piece out, so I split it and glued it together. Now I just need to sand it and paint. I put a block at the back-top, so I could use some velcro and attach it to the back of the console. I have an apple case on my phone. My wife does not, so her camera opening on her non-apple case was bigger. I modified the opening for the camera to be bigger to fit non-apple cases.

At this point, I have put enough time into it, so if anyone wants to remix it go for it. Any questions, let me know. Enjoy! Matt

How does it mount in the truck?

It would sit down where the factory wireless charger sits. In the picture (I still have to sand and paint it) but I will just use some velcro on the back to hold it in place.

For those interested in a different solution, I made a 3D printable insert for the cubby in front of the shifter that creates a nice flat surface to mount a MagSafe charger to.

Would be awesome if you made that fit the cubby that ford uses for the wireless charger. I added it to my truck but for the iPhone 12 and higher it doesn’t work well
