These speakers increased quality of the sound. The 3 ways you can hear the bass. I could barely hear the rear speakers with fade set to 80% to the rear. After the installation of the speakers I can hear the rears. Stock speakers had a 1 inch magnet. These have a 3 inch magnet. I was surprised at how much better the sound was.

Yeah, the speakers are an easy swap, but the B&O system’s amp can be a bottleneck. Some people add a DSP or aftermarket amp to get the most out of the upgrade.

An amplifier (amp) boosts the power of an audio signal, allowing your speakers to play louder and clearer without distortion. In a vehicle audio system, the amp takes the low-power signal from the head unit (stereo) and increases its strength before sending it to your speakers or subwoofer, ensuring cleaner sound and better performance.

A DSP (Digital Signal Processor) takes things a step further by fine-tuning and optimizing your audio system. It allows for precise frequency adjustments, time alignment, and crossover control, giving you the best possible sound quality.

For Ford trucks with the B&O system, the factory amp can be a major bottleneck, limiting the performance of upgraded speakers. Adding a DSP helps clean up the signal and improve clarity without replacing the amp. For even better results, pairing it with an aftermarket amp unlocks the full potential of your audio system, delivering stronger output and more detailed sound.

When you talk about the b&o system, are you also referring to the upgraded "unleashed" system. I'm just curious how much of an improvement these speakers and DSP provide over the upgraded system or if you're mainly referring to the base system (I believe 8 speaker?)

Do the stock base speakers ('24 STX) have the same amp bottleneck as the B&O? Thinking of doing the door speakers but not interested if it won't be noticeable. Not a speaker head here so forgive my ignorance!

So if I buy these from you they are "plug and play?". I don't have to run new wiring? We are looking for plug and play subwoofers, that was the ask.
