Like many who have posted about this, I’m in the same boat with this driveline vibration. Most prominently felt through the gas pedal when accelerating up hill in gears 8, 9 or 10. The vibration is intermittent however it oscillates in an “on/off” frequency and feels like something is rubbing/grinding at a regular interval when it occurs. Took the truck to the dealer and initially rode with a mechanic who verified the noise. He thought it might be a bad wheel bearing hub however the shop foreman disagreed. I next rode with the shop foreman who verified the noise. He contacted Ford corporate who were aware of the issue, but didn’t have any suggestions on how to fix it. The foreman and I then rode in two brand new 24’ f150’s and they both made the same noise. He said he believes it’s either a design flaw or a shipment of parts that were out of spec, but either way they did not know how to fix it. My truck was in the shop for almost 3 weeks while they tried to figure out the problem and now I’m left wondering what kind of damage this is causing to my truck. Very frustrating to say the least.
