22 BlueCruise Prep or Actually There

I was able to find a dealer about 8 hours away with a stock order for a 23 PB from November that has a blend date of 1/10/22 but it's still on a chip hold. According to the window sticker it has everything I wanted and is the right color and price. My hope was that it would not only be faster than an order (few days before orders closed) but it also shows as having park assist rather than the forced park assist delete. The window sticker also shows blue cruise active 2.0. When I finally figured out how to look up the status on shop.ford it shows as in production 1/11/22 as the last update.

Looking at the packages on there it shos blue cruise prep (circled in red) but I thought it was the 21 that has prep and 22 it was fully functional. Does this mean that I won't be able to use hands free on the long drive home and will be stuck like many waiting on some update, or is this just an outdated description in the tracker?

I believe that they downgraded all of the open orders to get them built. Mine magically changed from Active to Prep when they scheduled it.

Thanks, I'll have to hope that isn't the case then. According to the tracking this one was ordered by the dealer back in November 2011 and the blend date was January 2022. Since the window sticker didn't show the deletions I went that route instead of ordering one knowing that at least the active park delete would be required. The dealership says it has been on chip hold since then but has moved "forward" to some final chip hold, whatever that means. My hope was that being ordered and the initial build being so early it wouldn't be missing those parts. I guess if it is missing that stuff when it comes in I'll pass and move on to something else.
