Just purchased a 2023 King Ranch with the 3.5 Powerboost motor. Its a standard 4x4, so no FX4 package. I do not believe it has the CCD system. I am looking for the best way to get a 2-2.5" out of the front. Best way meaning not too much strain on the front end control arms, and a kit that will not cause any issues with the electric motor and high voltage cable locations. What are you guys doing for these trucks? I have heard that some people put the Fox 2.0 ('15-'20) kit on their truck because of the heavier springs, but I do not know what this is about.

I have been looking at the Bilstein 6112 stage 1 kit on stage3motorsports as well. Will this kit suffice? The local guys in my area aren't too well versed on the best way to level these powerboosts, as I guess its not too common. What are you powerboost guys doing to achieve this?

Thanks

Haven't purchased or installed yet, but I have heard good things here on the forum about the Eibach Pro Stage 2R leveling kit achieving such results for a Powerboost.

Fox 2.0 15'-20' kit on mine. brought it up to level. I also replaced my upper control arms due to extensive off-road driving. Eventually will upgrade to Adjustable Fox 2.5's

I did the Fox 2.5’s on my PB. I didn’t adjust them and I’m happy with the roughly 1.5 I got. If you adjust them you can be close to 2”. The passenger side , one nut on the top of the strut is a bit of PITA but it can be done by moving the bracket up a bit. Others can chime in but I think 2.5 would be a bit much for otherwise stock components and you probably have to bump the rear up to level

To work with the PB you truly have a few options, but when it comes to "leveling" you really dont have any kits out there. All kits provide roughly 2-3" of lift on non PB/Tremor models. The PB will gain a 1/2" less of lift due to the weight. Example: kit states up to 2.5", youll get about 2".

As for what to go with, it comes down to preference. We'll try and give the short version here:

The Fox 2.0s ride the smoothest and softest, but for many, its too soft. Doesnt mean they ride poorly, just a very soft riding shock.

Then you have the Eibach Pro coilovers. They will ride in the middle which firms up the front to give it that more planted feel, but still ride very smooth from day to day. They also can get you up to 2.5" of lift on your PB as they have a max lift of 3".

Then comes the 6112s. These will ride the firmest out of the 3 and that is due to their design and valving. Some really like this feel as it gives you that planted and firm feel, but for some its too rough as you do feel the ground/bumps more with this kit. They are designed to be that way though; so that is why it comes down to preference.

Hit us up if you need some help or need a kit. We just got some Eibach kits back in stock. Fox we have in stock. Bilstein is on a delay sadly (nationwide backorder). But we are happy to help out if we can!

I did the 6112 no adjustment for height do to towing. It made a big difference in how truck tows. I don’t feel like the ride is too stiff. It is a truck after all, hated the stock ride feel too mushy.

Roush makes a Fox 2.5 coilover leveling kit for the ‘21 and later PB’s which I had installed in my 22 Lariat PB about a year ago. My truck is level and has smooth ride and my 4x4 shop had no issues installing it in my PB. Highly recommend.
