Has anyone installed the vml3z18808a ford/kicker sub kit on a 22 with the Sirius and connected NAV delete. My truck had a forced delete at build and I see a little note on the copmatability chart that it works on trucks with Sirius only.

Could the APIM be missign a plug or something? I would like to stay as factury original as possible with this truck and not go compelte aftermarket.

From what I've heard these either sound like crap or don't work with most trucks. I've resigned myself to a more expensive and larger subwoofer solution.

I was looking at this Ford/Kicker upgrade as well just now. Haven't read any reviews on sound quality, but considered its surprisingly significantly cheaper priced than SoundsGood I'm wondering if the quality is there?

They are a great addon plug and play system, backed by Ford and warranty.
Earth shattering bass, no...adding some low end to the system, perfectly fine.

I had one on my 2021 7 speaker with Sirius and I strongly regret buying it. It never worked properly, Kicker says FDRS isn't loading the correct EQ file, and Ford is clueless. In the end you wind up with no support because Kicker and Ford can't agree on who is at fault when it doesn't work. Getting something that doesn't require programming is much safer.
