2021-25 F150 XL Mirror Upgrade

Hello, I thought it would be a simple upgrade to go from base XL model mirrors to mannual fold mirrors with puddle light and turn signal light. I installed the mirrors, driver (left) with 11-pin and passenger (right) with 13-pin and took to Ford dealer to enable the puddle and turn light which they did and the passenger works but the driver does not.

The drivers (left) door wire harness has only 7 wires to manage the mirror adjustment, Bliss, and heat. The passenger (right) door harness has 13 wires to manage the mirror adjustment, Bliss, heat, and temperature plus the additional wires support the puddle and turn light.

It appears that I need a different driver (left) door harness STX or XLT, that has 11 wires to the mirror.

Can anyone help advise how I can get the driver (left) puddle and turn lights to work?

Since you mentioned the turn signal and puddle lights have been enabled and it works on the passenger side. You just need to add the 2 missing wires that goes from the mirror connector to the module in the middle of the door. Buy an aftermarket wire kit from sellers that do or go on eBay to buy a door wire harness to transplant those missing wires.

You will in fact need a different wire harness, I had the same issue. Make sure you get the right year harness, the 2021-23 won't work with the 2024-2026. After I replaced my harness (and a fuse due to my own mistake), and reprogrammed my driver's door module, I got my new mirrors all working on a 2024 f150 RCSB

Hello, do you recall what harness you purchased? The trick for me here is that I have regular cab. My vehicle is 2025 F150XL and they stopped offering the XLT regular cabs 2023. Can you tell me what differs between 2021-23 vs 2023-26?
