OP, i'm right here with you. 23 plat powerboost. Original transmission replaced at 7k miles because of clunky/hard shifts shifting from any combination of P, R, D. Replaced transmission, 3k into it, started clunky/hard downshifts from 10 to 9 on the highway and when upshifting to 10, RPMs bounce a couple of times making the truck feel like its braking. Dealership replaced transmission again. this one doing the same thing 100 miles in except this one does it 7,8,9, and 10th gear. Good times!

Unbelievable. I guess you cannot even feel safe with a warranty. They’ll just slap some POS in there and kick the can down the road hoping it makes it just long enough to not be their problem anymore. At this point, I think we are just receiving lip service about Ford’s push for quality. I don’t believe them anymore. We are entering the 9th year of production for the 10r80 and they are still having problems. This wouldn’t be possible if they really mean what they say. At this point, I read the forums to remind myself why I shouldn’t buy a new Ford truck.

Sorry to hear about your issues. Had my transmission rebuilt and had the revised CDF drum installed last month all under warranty with no questions asked. I can tell you from my personal experience it feels like a whole differnt truck now. As far as 2024 F150 goes, I believe Ford has addressed all the known issues with the 10R80s in late 23. Sounds like you got a rebuilt trans without the updated parts installed. You might be better off taking it to another dealer.
