Just spoke with ford chat, they said there is a hold on my truck but they can't see what the hold is and to contact the dealer.

What status are you currently in?

Currently in production status, blend date was 10/23, modules populated starting 10/24, no updates or changes since, pressed activation button in fordpass app, says "activation pending" yesterday.

The price difference of my truck between the 23 vs the 22 is about $6000 more for same options.

Appreciate your support, but I feel I have seen you post about wanting your truck across every build week since god knows when. Just go to the dealer and buy a truck already. The tribe has spoken.

So I should just not get what I want, because there is no BAP lariats with max tow, tow mirrors and no moonroof and also throw away about 10k (with dealer markup) because I give advice. I have never been negative to anyone on this forum but I hope you have to go through what I have and then you might be a little bit more appreciative and understanding. So I hope you have a good build and I won’t answer anything for you, because I’ve been through it all, and good luck

Your money and your truck, but I agree with the part about picking one up off the lot. If you get rolled to a 23 for whatever reason, your cost is going to go up significantly and who knows when you will get it. You might have to travel, but I’d bet you can find a similarly equipped 22 on a lot somewhere for much cheaper than a 23 will be. Heck, some dealers here are doing 1k off MSRP and you can use X-plan.

Before I got my 10/27 build date, I was SO close to buying a 2022 off the lot…and financially it probably makes sense.

I have looked for my build within 200 miles of my dealer. Nothing equipped the same as mine. I am getting D plan which is through a family member through the dealer. It’s my brother who runs 16 dealerships. So to get the pricing I’m getting it only works through his dealership. My family has owned numerous dealerships in my time and I know how this all works. I was raised in the car business. But I won’t be throwing money away to settle and just get a truck I’m not happy with. That’s my two cents

I got the same message this morning. Does anyone know the timeframe from built to shipped? It doesn’t give me an ETA to my dealer.

My timeframe was two hours today. I went from Awaiting shipment to shipped/in transit.
