My worst cleaning was a brand new McFlurry spilled all over back seat and floor by my amazing daughter.

What tools or products help you keep your ride clean without a ton of effort?

My interior cleaning tip is to use a Swiffer Duster before any other cleaning tool.

• picks-up and holds dust better than anything including a damp microfiber cloth or vacuum cleaner
• absolutely will not scratch IPC / display screens or anything else
• easily gets in difficult areas like the base of the windshield, door & console cubbies, AC vent louvers, and around dash knobs
• stashes easily in the glovebox
• IME, used weekly it reduces the need for more intensive cleanings

My interior cleaning tip is don’t let the war office take the truck to the shops.

One day she picked up a couple of bottles of wine and a 1.75l Jack Daniels at the liquor store and put them standing up on the floor in back.

Whilst I drive like miss Daisy she’s more of a corner on two wheels kind of gal so sure enough the JD fell over and clinked against the wine at just the right angle to shatter the JD bottle…

1.75L of JACK DANIELS ALL OVER THE FLOOR OF MY NEW TRUCK!!!!

Luckily my mat saved a good bit of it from going into the carpet but enough overflowed that it still smelt like I’d had an epic truck party!

Wasn’t sure what hurt more… loss of the 1.75l of Jack Daniels or the fact that my truck smelt like a bar ( did wonder how I’d ever explain myself to a police officer if I were to get stopped for a while there)..

So the war office has strict transport guidelines she has to follow now whenever she takes the truck (but mostly takes her car)…
