break pads

Hey all I have a 2023 F150 with 12k miles and still have the OEM breaks, I know some guys here have trucks with 80k miles with original pads, not sure how, but on mine they are super loud and squeaky after not driving for about an hr, usually last for a mile or so, super annoying, just wondering...
