Never owned a truck before so not sure what I’m looking at here. 43K miles on 2022 2.7L. Used a fluid extractor to pull out Front differential fluid. Only 1.6L came out but it took the full 1.7L in per the manual to fill.
For reference, I very rarely off road or use the 4WD function. I almost...
Update: dealer found the source of the leak was my Morimoto aftermarket 3rd brake light. I'll be reaching out to them for a warranty replacement if possible, just a heads up for any other folks that have one installed. It looked like the material they had on it to seal it was pretty solid when I...
Passenger front seat carpet gets soaked everytime we have a really hard rain (typically wind and rain together). No issues with light rain. I pressure wash my truck and cant find any leaks. No sunroof. Already had the AC drain TSB done years ago. Dealer tried spraying water but can’t find any...
Can anyone please check my VIN for SCCM updates and/or any OTAs?
I brought my truck into dealer for the heated steering wheel turning off after 10 minutes (TSB 22-2232). They said it was a quick SCCM update that they did, however it still turns off after 10 minutes, and it barely puts out any...
Update: I spoke with the advisor and tech and they said they used a pressure bleeder and it connects to the bleed port (the ones with the caps up top), and that they did all 4 corners. The furthest one just looks clean because they spilled a bit on that one and cleaned it up. They’re also gonna...
yea you’re right man, it’s not proof they did it for sure, but what it appears happened is they drained from the passenger rear, but not any of the other 3 calipers
I looked up how to do a brake fluid flush (never done it before) and decided to just let the dealer do it since I don’t have FDRS and wanted them to do it that way using the ABS pump to get all the old fluid out.
Well I got my truck back and the passenger rear caliper clearly has been cleaned...
Can you show where the full procedure is listed and or a tutorial for how to DIY this? I don't mind going out and buying the right equipment as long as it's reasonable. I'd rather not pay the dealer but I've never done brakes before.
it sorta fixed itself when I tried again after multiple days and attempts. The receipt upload part is definitely slow and I still sit there waiting a bit, but eventually it went though. I’ve found d the app to be very glitchy, and you need to keep both your phone and the app 100% up to date or...
and per the magnuson moss warranty act isn’t the dealer responsible for demonstrating that the catch can caused improper pressure before Denying the warranty claim? All they did was say it has a catch can which can cause leaks so we’re not gonna cover it
World Ford of Pensacola,FL and they are the worst dealer I’ve ever worked with of any brand.
anyone have the email/website for the ford customer rep folks that can help me open a case?
