  1. ⏱ F-150 Scheduling Next Week (4/25) For Build Week 5/16

I’d get excited but then I’d have to go into my deleted email folder to see which build week I’m assigned at the moment. Can’t remember. It’s moments like these where I can’t remember if I’m supposed to laugh until I cry or cry until I laugh.
  2. 3% Under Invoice 2022 F-150 Order - Granger Ford

Yes, completely agree and this is why my frustration is mounting over the repeat of 2021 order delays. I waited until late fall/early winter expressly because of last year’s issues, only for my build date to roll downhill going on three months. Our deposit is non-refundable for allocation...
  3. 3% Under Invoice 2022 F-150 Order - Granger Ford

Pushed back again. Interest rates rising and my current truck keeps racking up the miles. For info, how do Ford Credit incentives work In this scenario? Time of order, time of delivery? My resident location or Grangers?
  4. 3% Under Invoice 2022 F-150 Order - Granger Ford

Yes, Chip told me as much. It was very unexpected to get a VIN within 24 hrs of order confirmation. Perhaps that is why I’m so down on the process. Orig build date of 2/7, now 5/2.
  5. 3% Under Invoice 2022 F-150 Order - Granger Ford

Bannerman, Not to be a Debbie Downer, but does being scheduled for production really mean anything? I got a VIN and production date the day after I submitted my order to Chip in early December. On build date change number fifty-eleven at this point. Scheduling dates don’t mean anything at Ford...
  6. 3% Under Invoice 2022 F-150 Order - Granger Ford

Can anyone shed light on what commodities are restricted and what specifically is causing delays? I ordered in early Dec 21. Had a VIN and build date (2/14/22) within 24 hours of placing the order. Latest build date email from Ford says week of 5/4/22.
  7. '21 Space White XLT – Built for thrashing

I’d like to look into the idea of a tire fitting in the driveway and at the supermarket vs fitting on a trail at full articulation. Looking at this stuff, a regular 2” level and anything larger than 34” in diameter looks like a bad idea no matter what the offset.
  8. 3.5L ecoboost vs. 5.0 Liter engine?

If you plan on doing absolutely anything at altitude (above 5k ft), it’s a no-brainer, get the ecoboost. I crush naturally aspirated engines on the regular both unladen and towing/hauling in CO.
  9. ? F-150 LARIAT Lounge ?

Effing A! Yes, those are the 64M wheels, same ones I’ll have on my 500A. Thank you. Obviously wheel-size.com is incorrect for a number of tire/wheel combos. May it be reflected in the annuls that you win the internet on Dec 16th, 2021
  10. Stock Wheel Offset: +44 mm / Size: 18x8.5

Just to clarify for accuracy, these are the Sport 18” wheels (FoMo code 64R) that come with the 275/65/18 AT rubber, correct? This is why websites like wheel-size.com are maddening. They clearly show that all trucks with 275/65/18 rubber are on 7.5” wide wheels. As evidenced by this photo...
  11. ? F-150 LARIAT Lounge ?

I think they have a few errors on that site. For instance, 18” sport wheels that are wrapped in 275/65/18 tires are listed as 7.5” wide on that site. The folks that have taken them off and photographed the inside of the wheel show 8.5”.
  12. 3% Under Invoice 2022 F-150 Order - Granger Ford

If someone asks me if I want to buy a used truck with 1000 miles of highway driving or 1000 miles of stop and go city driving, I know which one I’m picking. Theres a reason for the prevailing opinion that highway miles are better for engines than stop an go. And as far as brakes go, bedding in...
  13. 64M Lariat/King Ranch Wheels

I am trying—fruitlessly—to find the width of the stock 18” Lariat/King Ranch wheels. Wheel-Size.com isn’t much help. Their chart has some errors, notably the 18” sport wheels being listed at 7.5”. Anyone had these off yet and seen the numbers stamped on the inside of the wheel? Edit: crisis...
  14. ? F-150 LARIAT Lounge ?

Anyone know the measurements for the stock Lariat wheels? Are they 8.5” wide? Having a devil of a time finding this out. NOT sport package or chrome package versions.
  15. '21 Space White XLT – Built for thrashing

I know you already wrote about the 34s above. Mind going into some more detail about on and off road handling, clearance issues (I know you said they’re good to go on stick wheels), mpg, and any other assorted things you want to add? Perhaps things you wish you’d known before going to those...
  16. '21 Space White XLT – Built for thrashing

I‘m over on the Front Range, hence the screen name. 1/2 Ton trucks with slightly modded/upgraded off road ability are so functional here in CO for the bike/ski/elk crowd. Thats why your build has my interest piqued. I hadn’t heard that about the Gen 14 axles. I was looking at Icon Rebound...
  17. '21 Space White XLT – Built for thrashing

Great thread and informative. I’ll be following for updates. I use my truck for almost the exact same purposes and in many of the same locations as yourself. I’m so happy to see that true 34” tires are a no go for actual off road use with a Fox coilover level. Thanks for your honesty there. I...
  18. 3% Under Invoice 2022 F-150 Order - Granger Ford

It’s a pretty vanilla order, in my opinion. Thanks for the advice. The sales person was pretty adamant that I didn't have to take delivery, but all that matters is what’s in writing obviously. Id rather not speak negatively of a dealer publicly, but if you really want to know which one, send...
  19. Do I have to purchase the truck?

I sort of assumed this is how it goes. But with the truck already having been produced, or at least supposed to be this week, I didn’t know the specifics.
  20. Do I have to purchase the truck?

This is what I expect to happen. But I am trying to gather as much data as I can and ease my mind somewhat about backing out as the truck is being produced.
