  1. Stage 3 Motorsports - Buyer Beware

Yep - you’re right. And if I would’ve done the research first I would have figured that out before hand. Lessons learned I guess
  2. Stage 3 Motorsports - Buyer Beware

Like many of you I had a couple accessories in mind when I bought my truck. When I found this forum, it was a massive help when it came to deciding what specific accessories to chose based on people experiences. What I didn’t know was WHERE to purchase these accessories. A quick google search...
  3. Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

275/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grappler with Ford Performance offroad suspension for 2.5 inches of lift in the front. Still retains roughly 1.5 inches of rake.
  4. What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Not all today, but I've done the following: 1. Ford Performance Coilover kit - front spring perch set to 2.5 inches. 2. Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/70/18 (33 inch tire) Tires and suspension performed awesome on gravel/dirt roads after a recent rain here in STX. Thinking Ranch hand brush guard next...
  5. Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

Wanting to go with this exact same setup. I already ordered the coil overs. Thoughts on the tires so far? MPG, grip, noise? Looks phenomenal
  6. Paint Protection Film - Worth it?

I personally do not have experience with 3M, however my Dad has had it applied to one of his vehicles and really thought it was great. I think 3M has been in the PPF game longer than Xpel, as this was quite a few years ago, long before I heard about Xpel as a brand
  7. Texas WTB - Stock Side Steps (black, rectangle shaped) in the Houston Area

Thanks for your response - I’m no longer looking as I too went aftermarket.
  8. Texas WTB - Stock Side Steps (black, rectangle shaped) in the Houston Area

If you have some OEM side steps for a super crew that you are trying to sell in the Houston area, please let me know.
  9. Extended Service Plans ESPs

Newb question - will a leveling kit (coilover) void an extended warranty?
  10. Houston Thread (dealership/shop recco's, meet-up's, coding/modding, help, etc.)

I ordered. I have X plan, so I can't comment on how they would have sold it otherwise. I know this - they aren't charging over sticker, which is more than you can say for most dealerships in the area right now. Ive seen 60K XLT's (w/o powerboost), 52K STX's, etc... So for those of you out there...
  11. Houston Thread (dealership/shop recco's, meet-up's, coding/modding, help, etc.)

Had good luck with Gullo Ford in Conroe, that’s where I purchased my ‘21 Lariat. Can’t speak to the service department yet, as I haven’t had to bring it in for anything
  12. Paint Protection Film - Worth it?

I appreciate the in-depth write up @euchre_u ...I went to a place in midtown called AFS. Think they did an OK job. I think if I were to do it over again, I would get the full hood. I already have a chip on the upper portion where there's no PPF from my trip to Kerville last weekend...
  13. Paint Protection Film - Worth it?

Looks really sharp. Thanks for sharing your experience
  14. PSA: Check your fuses for full seating!

Just checked on mine - most of them still had roughly a millimeter of give left till they were fully seated. Had a press a little bit to get them seated all the way, but all is well now. Thanks OP for pointing this out
  15. Paint Protection Film - Worth it?

This was a factor for me as well. A lot of chrome on the front, but I decided to do it anyways. My main concern was the hood, I hated the rock chips on my previous vehicle. To each there own I guess
  16. 2nd tank of 94 octane in 2.7

The octane debate has been beaten to death, no doubt. All I will add is that the power figures Ford quotes for each engine are based on premium gasoline. You might also see a slight (emphasis on slight) increase in efficiency. Up to the individual to determine if this is worth the increase cost...
  17. Tonneau Covers - Recommendations and Reviews

thanks for your input - narrowed it down to Bakflip MX4 and Leer HF650. Thought I wanted a soft cover but others on this thread have convinced me otherwise
