That's what I was getting at. What will the long term storage do to the main drive battery.
Yeah, I could try that or ask a buddy to start it periodically. But I'd prefer not to ask anyone to do anything just to keep it (and the payment) so I have something when I get back. It hasn't been a...
I'll need to look closer at this but if this can't be parked in a garage storage unit for a year without potential problems when I get back I will have to sell it.
Anyone have considerations for storing a Powerboost long term? I usually store vehicles for up to a year but not sure if this is any different for prep. Usually just disconnect the battery and fill the tank. Any thoughts?
Hello.
I understand this is not specific to the 2021 XLT 301a Powerboost but has anyone had issues with "sensor blocked" alerts constantly when no sensors are blocked?
This alert (pic) pops up for 1-2 seconds and goes away, sometimes only the tone alert in the cab goes off. I've not been able...
I have the same wheels, was going to go with the Michelin LTX but those look good. And I know its been asked, but no issue with road noise on the interstate or higher speeds?
Hello. Has anyone removed the tailgate and disconnected that camera? I'm curious if this triggers a constant in-cab alert or if its a non-issue? I will need to remove it a few times a year when using a slide in camper.
2021 XLT and every time I use the remote start, I enter the cab to see the rear window defrost on. Its clearly set to "last settings" and rear defrost is never used. Is this a issue anyone else has?
Now I'm being told I don't even need to upgrade the tires to 10 ply right away. So everything the camper dealer told me about prepping the truck is actually more about how it feels after I get it and see how it handles
Several tires places have told me the 4 ply OEM tires are rated more than...
Good advice. I'm not gonna worry about until it gets finished. Then I can see if things look okay. Just a bit tramatic seeing a new truck treated like a old truck. Not overreacting was my main concern.
Thanks for the feedback. I added these notes to the inusrance claim for future protection and will leave it at that. When I do get the truck back I'll have learned more about it for sure.
Okay, so there should be no concern with wiring as well. I'm going to at least document it with on the insurance claim in case there is a issue with that door.
If the shop manager says there is no concern, and a couple of you already say its not, then I'm gonna let it go.
I've contacted my insurance agent and she says absolutely not right to leave it exposed outside. Being a Powerboost and aluminum body I dont know if those points are relevant.
What I dont want to do is get mad at the body shop and have them react by delaying and whatever else they can do to...
Bought my F-150 Powerboost about 4 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago hit a deer at about 30 mph, front passenger side. Not a big deal. It's common in this region.
At first glance it looked minor. A body shop was recommended by the dealer so I trusted them and put it in for repair.
What looked like minor...
