Thank you - helpful thoughts! Let’s see what the guys say but at the same time, I’m screening both the new My23 and used market.
any thoughts on the window sticker?
I don't disagree with you on the price aspect but with regards to interest rates, you also have to be realistic. A dealer can't just offer 0% or 2% financing out of the goodness of their heart. They need to have a financing partner willing to underwrite this. Despite an 800+ credit score, even...
Thank you! Platinums aside, why do you think $79k is still high on a new truck? I’m struggling to find any 2023s at this level of discount. What do you think would be a more appropriate price? It helps me in case I actually go into the dealer to negotiate.
On window sticker: I’ve been trying to...
So I'm wondering... I found a new 2022 F-150 Limited that only has the multi-contour seats deleted on a local dealer lot. Produced in March '23 as a special order probably due to delays. Dealer said customer backed out due to fancying the massage seats. I personally don't care for them. The...
I order my 2022 F150 Limited on 10/14 with a prio 10 code. Limited trim supposedly takes the longest, typically gets scheduled for build only 2-3 months after order (based on 202- order timelines). I guess I got lucky!
Ordered on 10/14, got confirmation email on 10/15 from Ford. Got my VIN/scheduled build email from Ford today, build week of 1/10. However, VIN and order code only give me an error message on website. Not concerned. Pretty fast turnaround to scheduling for a Limited trim.
That mpg isn’t exactly great for a diesel. I got 21mpg out of my HO EB in the Raptor on interstate trips. is this still in break-in? I would hope that gets better and closer to the advertised 30mpg for that engine during highway driving.
I’d be cautious making statements generalizing from Ford Performance vehicles to baseline Ford vehicles. Unless there is actual Ford-backed documentation or facts, the probability of there being a mileage-induced ECU tune is way way way lower than the other way around.
Performance vehicles...
If only Apple Maps wouldn't be complete s*** compared to Waze or G-Maps. I wish they could just create a proper instrument cluster integration with CarPlay/Android Auto in general but it's basically up to each individual app developer and the car manufacturer.
You said it happens in turns though, and I would agree with the members above: It can very well be the electronic stability control that cuts power. This system can be triggered quite easily and the description would fit. But it being your average Internet forum diagnostics, you'd probably want...
Actually this sounds very much like the active stability control kicking in, which is fairly easy to trigger when driving with a bit more passion like the OP seems to do. It tries to prevent too much lateral G’s that could be risky, therefore occurring mostly in curves under boost. The outcome...
