I have experienced the frozen screen or Sync reboots multiple times. Generally I simply do the soft reboot and sometimes a watchdog process does it for me. But, when the screen freezes while backing up and shows a stale rear view image, that is when it crosses the line for me and becomes...
I had my truck in for a different issue and brought up that the code throws and clears itself. The dealership order a new catalytic converter and it came almost immediately. The turn around surprised the dealership. New cat is being installed now.
I have my truck back. They reset the kam and the problem stopped. Recall I never had the code throw. (I'm also getting a new catalytic converter for a P0420 which throws occasionally but that is a different thread. )
@Ford Motor Company, can you shed some light on when parts to resolve this issue will be available? I don't agree that this is safe situation to have the truck operate in. The truck defaults to Normal mode when started. This lurching scares the hell out of you and could cause you to react and...
What!? I just dropped mine off at service this morning and will report back what they tell me. Mine lurched with auto hold on and off. Only time it didn't was in Tow/Haul mode. Your report is disappointing - boo!
Started happening to me frequently over the last couple of weeks. I have an appointment with Ford in a week. The service representative hadn't heard of the issue at interstate Ford in Dacano Colorado. I hope the tech can reproduce. Driving in tow mode in the meantime.
Good luck!
I will be interested to see if replacing both cats fixes the problem!
RE: MPG differences. I haven't see any after the code throws.
To me all of this sounds like something wrong in the logic with the the O2 sensor readings and Ford is replacing perfectly good cats. You'd think...
I have a 2022 PB. I had the wrench and the warning come on today for the first time. Been wet in Colorado with melting snow. I turned on the truck after reading the multiple threads on this topic and the wrench is no longer illuminated. I need to take the truck in for the washer motor recall so...
See attached images. Working with my dealer now, but I see this on my windshield only when I have polarized lenses on. Any others have this issue and how did you deal with it? It is a little annoying as it is just above eye level on the passenger side.
