    Speed limit in both parks is 45, with many areas 25 to 35. On freeways I would set the cruise at 60 or 65. On highways, 55 or 60.

    The first shows our trip from central Utah area to Yellowstone. We made several day trips from Tetons to Lake area in the park. The second shows overall mileage and current mpg for mostly highway driving.

    Thanks! Very helpful response. I should not be so picky. Coming down a long canyon, cruise set on 60, we averaged 33 mpg.
