To close my comments , I did contact Ford technical support and they stated that damp or wet shocks are 'seeping' , not 'leaking' , and this is normal and acceptable. They stated shocks are not considered failing until fluid is dripping from them. Hmmm. Will be upgrading.

5100 miles and still hard shifts 1 to 3 and some very hard erratic downshifts mid gears. Reported to dealer service and as others have noted they are useless. Cant replicate, just brush you off. Will try the suggestion to use adaptive cruise. Overall a disappointing truck.
