I just use a strap for the ramp, attach it to the hitch, so it doesnt slide out. Besides that, the ramps fit in the truck bed on the sides like they should.
If you email them, there is a form you can fill out to have pins made for your bike.
Will be sending them measurements for these two CRF150R’s I picked up today!!
Understood, I only use this system and the truck to transport bikes to and from the track when needed, and yes you can chain the bike to the bed.
Regardless, if you use tie downs, TRS or any other truck bed system and you leave your bikes and car unattended, anything can get stolen.
The point...
Definitely install the TRS. I used another TRS plate underneath to sandwich the truck bed since it’s corrugated. It was a pain with the powerboost motor and battery, barely any room to work. But if you have a non-hybrid you will be ok.
Ok, I did some more research, and think I answered my own question. I ordered one of these 30 to 50 amp dog bones. I think that’s what I need to run both AC units off the trucks 30 amp bed connection
Thanks for sharing your experience. I am still confused and wanted to discuss my simple situation. I have a power boost with 7.2. I have the correct Amazon 30 amp adapter etc. I have a toy hauler with dual ACs, both 13500 btu etc. Now, I connected the camper to the 30 amp connection in the bed...
Loaded up the bikes with the ramps using tie downs, no problems. Working on a solution for the ramp plate that it comes with which I can’t use since it’s a powered tailgate with work surface.
Haha, expected response with a name like that…
I hear ya, I have ramps like the ones you posted. But I love the fact that I can stow the Ford ramps and integrate them Into the bed.
So what I found out today is the power tailgate with work surface cannot be ordered with the ramps. I mean you can get it to work which is what I’m doing, but they don’t list it as an available option. The power tailgate has different mounting holes for the plastic or metal piece on the surface...
HAHA, yes, I noticed that too, its very confusing!!!
I actually ordered the 2015-2020 ramps today, $616 shipped to my door. The 2021 ramps were $125 more and parts dept could not tell me why. What they did state is the ramps, cleats, ramp L brackets for box link are all the same, but the ramp...
Hey Flat, I actually went to my buddies house where he has his 2019 raptor and for ramps. I can stow and also use the ramps, but have to use a tie down for each one so they dont pull out from underneath when walking/moving bikes (which is fine to be honest). The biggest question was do they...
Ok, what is the diff btwn these 2 part numbers besides the 2021 and 2020-2015 fitment?

Thank you Flat, this has left me even more confused as too what the diff is btwn these two Ford ramps. One is a 2021 the other is a 2015-2020. But the photos are identical, so what is the diff. I called a dealer they have no clue...

I have a 2021 Limited with the work surface tail gate. Does anyone have a 2021 F150 without the work surface tailgate, and if so, can you kindly post a few photos of the tailgate open plz....ty!!!
I want to know if I can replace the work surface with a non-worksurface, or if the tail gate has...
Installed dual pit-bull TRS plates on my F150 Limited. Had the plates sprayed when they did the liner as well. Added another plate underneath to help flatten the corrugated areas for the bolts and washers.
@JediNut -
I bought these as well. There isn't one specifically described as being for the 2021 F-150 but any one which has the spring-loaded cup holder inserts. I recall it was the F-250.
The best part is that you can get any custom graphic you want on these. 2 for $20. I bought a set...
Thanks John, I actually have one of these, but I think mine is a 2 not 3 ramps wide. I will use them until I find a solution to use the stowable Ford option....ty!
Hey capt, my buddy has a 2019 raptor and transports his race bike with out any issues. I do have a longer aluminum ramp but want to use the stowable ones if possible.
