My truck is a powerboost and was at 24 miles per gallon. My truck has approximately 3,400 miles on it and the miles per gallon has dropped to 18-19. Anyone have these issues also? What can I do if anything to get the mile per gallon back up due to the gas prices?

I emailed JLT and they are coming out with a catch can for the powerboost at the end of summer. So it should be soon. I had one on my 14 ecoboost and it was awesome. I noticed the difference from the oil the dealership put in to the amsoil input in. A lot less nastiness in the catch can.

Yes JTL is what I had on my truck before. JTL is working on manufacturing one for the 2021 year truck. They said hopefully end of summer. ?

You get what you pay for tho. I sell it on the side and like it.

Anyone use Amsoil and not the motorcraft products. Amsoil says 15k to a year oil change with their oil. I changed my front and rear axle with the amsoil trans and it made a difference to me.

I don’t have a picture of my catch cannon my old ecoboost. The catch can had a tan color at the bottom and thick like Carmel.

Does the new 2021 F-150 power boost need a catch can? I have one on my older 2014 ecoboost and it worked very good. Just was not sure with the powerboost and the hybrid part. thank you, Chuck
