Sounds like heat exchanger. I had similar issue and tried to track it down thinking it was a heat shield too. Took to the dealer and they quickly determined it was a bad heat exchanger. Dealer changed under warranty & rattle went away.

Yes, and is still working. Lane keep and 360 copilot. I don’t remember seeing it wouldn’t work when I purchased (but I see the statement now) so something may have changed. Maybe reach out to manufacturer. It’s a great option if you don’t want to run a wire back to fuse box.
