I aired them to 35 psi at 50F, I got used to them and they feel better after about 2k miles. They are a little harsher and firmer but I am satisfied with them now. I was expecting the OMG right at first. The Ford Hankook was made for comfort not much anything else. I got them installed with...
Update - I had 2 bad tires, they ride better then before, discount tire swapped them all out. They are a little harsh so I put them to 32psi. I am comparing these to driving 3 lease trucks with the OEM Hankooks. My goal was to put them on a second set of OEM 20” rims I bought cheap ($400)...
So I am not imagining it, thanks for the feedback. I am lost on what to buy now…
They upset the suspension and are noisy, the rear of the truck bunny hops when braking hard on rough pavement and don’t seem to have traction when getting on it. I live in Michigan and the roads are shit and...
Which Bridgestones?
There is a strip of road on the expressway by me that is grooved for miles. These tires follow the grooves swaying the vehicle back and forth, at 70mph not a good feeling. I travel this way multiple a few times a week. I am done, these are not pleasant where I drive on...
Well I was thinking same thing and read the same thing, after reading many positives reviews I was like what the hell it is the right way to go. Well i don’t like the impact harshness etc, it feels like i am driving on an over inflated tire. I will look into the Bridgestone, Discount will...
Yes it is higher, discount tire and Michelin said it should not make a difference in ride.. In the factory 275/60/20 tire size that is the only option.
That’s is why I asked if anybody is running the same tire and what do they feel.
I questioned that before I bought them and still question it...
If you think about it makes sense, my mpg went up 1.5 mpg because I am riding on stiff tread and sidewall less rolling resistance.
It has to have a hard tread for a 70K mileage warranty. I assume there is an under layer for impact absorption but how else are you going to get 70k best case out...
My bad they are H, point still stands.
Michigan roads are shit, the hankooks took the bumps like a champ, that is the only thing that tire was good for.
I had the Hankook tires on my last three trucks. I was so excited to get the defenders and to me it was a huge let down. I have been...
My coworker has a different size on an older F150 and he said they are harsh and we drive the same roads everyday. He said he played with tire pressure and just gave up. He does travel highway to visit family down south so it made sense for him to deal with it for the mileage and traction.
I...
I just put Michelin Defenders LTX M/S2 on my 23 Powerboost and the impact harshness is worse then expected.
Size is 275/60/20 116H XL
I was running on the HankooK Dynopro AT2, these tires were quiet and absorbed small and large impacts well. Yes they sucked in the snow, rain, and wore like...
It occurs once after the vehicle has been sitting for a period of time off.
Enter the vehicle and depress the brake pedal normally as if you were getting ready to start the vehicle and the pop occurs.
i have noticed it while actually driving.
Does anybody else have this issue? If so was there a solution?
It seems to happen when the vehicle sits for a period of time and only happens on first application.
I have a new 23 powerboost that I have had for 2 months, the same issue with a pop, at 1500 miles it started. I am concerned about the noise, it only happens on first brake pedal application for startup after the vehicle has gone into a sleep shutdown state. My 21 powerboost did not have this...
