I live in western New York. 9 months winter 2 months mud 1 month road construction lol. I like 2wd they ride better and are better on gas. Less wear and tear too. Never got stuck where it was an issue. But lately nobody will buy a used 2wd around here I don't think they even sell them so 4x4...
Mine does it too 3.5eb 1600 miles. Idles like it's got a vacuum leak it's the nature of them I drove a couple different ones all the same. Ford isn't going to richen the idle because of epa regs so as long as there's no cel it's good but I imagine injecting some more fuel at idle would really help.
