I opened a Ford Rewards Visa. I use it for gas only. At least year's gas prices about 9,000 miles of gas equaled about $80 in Points. Perfect for an oil change. I just completed a 5,000 road trip towing my trailer and picked up close to 40,000 points.
Has anyone been successful in redeeming the pick up and delivery rewards? I've contacted seven dealers and none participate. I'm silver level and shouldn't be sitting at the dealership ninety minutes for an oil exchange.
I noticed a couple posters thinking Ford spec’d the wrong spring. I agree with an earlier poster who believes it was to prevent folks digging around in there while driving. It’s big and deep and taking your eyes off the road for a prolonged period of time could lead to disaster.
Two dimes...
About that same time my parents gave me their AMC Ambassador. The front seats recline flat to match the back seat. Perfect at drive ins for a high school guy. It also had a 401. I was in gallons per mile range when I really jumped on it.
I remember back when riding in a F150 was like riding in a truck. A couple years ago at work we were heading out for lunch and since there were five of us I offered to drive. Two people hadn't been in a pickup in decades, they couldn't believe the comfort.
Thanks for posting.
I was surprised that the bigger box increases, not decrease, towing limits. It’s not by much because of the weight of the box, but it’s there.
if you’re serious about towing there are a few options that make a difference. For example I don’t think anyone will argue against the 36 gallon fuel...
Husky fan here. I had an issue with the Weathertech on a previous truck and they lost a longtime customer. The Husky are solid choices. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the better brands.
I remember forty years ago driving home rehearsing the story I was going to tell my dad.
Sorry for what will be a long wait.
I was in a garage with mine last week wishing my 6.5 bed and screw could retract to a short bed regular cab.
