Exactly.
Not to mention all the other future truck buyers who are at risk of being screwed by this dealer if they don't know what they are getting into.
If I lived in Northern VA, I would want to know which dealer to avoid.
The fact that you didn't name the dealer despite them screwing you over just perpetuates this type off behavior. Why would you not want everyone to know which dealership did this?
Perhaps you were still holding onto some hope over the weekend, but now that the dealer deadline passed, I can't...
Man... This is a terrible time to need or want to buy a new truck. Between the delays, loss of available features due to chip shortage, and frequent price increases, it's a seller's market for sure. Unfortunately for Ford and other carmakers, they can't really capitalize on the supply and...
I see now. I feel for you. You are in a bad position, and I know how it feels. Although most F159s perform as expected, there are many stories of people just like you not getting the service and help they needs when things go wrong.
Good luck, and let us know what the service tech says.
If you aren't getting the service you expect, why don't you take Ford up on their offer a few posts back. They offered to help, but it sounded like you told them not to worry as everything was going just fine with your current plan.
Those are certainly important factors to consider. It's why I'm still holding both reservations. Maybe I'll take which comes first... Lightning or Rivian. Or maybe I'll eventually give up and keep my old F150 another few years. I'm so indecisive.
What a mess. My Lightning reservation apparently means close to nothing to Ford since dealers were permitted to let VIPs cut the line and place orders before people who reserved first, so I've been trying to decide whether I should wait another year or more for my Lightning, buy a Powerboost...
Why are you doing "full acceleration pulls" in 4H with the rear diff locked? Are the driving conditions appropriate for these modes? If not, and You are driving around in pavement like this, this may be hard on your truck. You will end up with bigger problems that a new warning light.
I had XPEL applied to my Mach e. It hasn't been all that long obviously, but so far it has been well worth the investment. It definitely prevents a lot of rock chips and scratches. I can't comment on how well it will hold up over time.
