I am looking at doing the opposite. Im not a fan of the door. Would you consider selling me your open upper glove box?
Or if anyone wants to trade? Im in Eastern Ontario. The dealership couldnt find it and told me to comeback with a vin# of a truck without the door
Those gaps are exactly why I made this topic. And as feared, water runs right on the frame rails, axel, exhaust and gas tank at the exact same spot. It direct all the water to that line. I think I am going to run a good bead of high quality exterior black caulk all along those joints.
If I remember, there are drain holes but they have removable caps. My old '11 ram used to hold water in the bed and dump everytime I would take off after rain.
Ok, I think I'll assume it's normal. I know my 2011 Ram 1500 had been caulked and spray lined over it. On the bright side, water wont pool in this box I guess.
So it's an 8' box. Factory spray on bed liner. I'm pretty sure that I remember the pickup truck boxes having somekind of caulk between the floor and walls. Well in this one, I can actually see daylight in between(gaps). Is this normal?
I wonder if it would possible to add a simple switch to the fuel pump relay without causing codes. Essentially you can put a switch or button anywhere. If the truck gets no fuel. It wont drive off. I dont know about cutting into a 2021 harness yet though....
Picked mine up May 7th. Ordered mid Feb. I just saw this thread yesterday. It's an XL101A HD truck from KC.
Dealership offered to fix for free without even seeing it. It looks like I can fix it myself...
So I picked up my truck 5 days ago (almost 3month wait, 1week before ETA, KC truck). I saw this thread yesterday and had a look at mine. It's really not that bad. So I went to the dealership and every single diff had some kind of rust on it. So I was looking into doing the repair.
But...
