    That's fair, I never had a car with this much telemetry before, so whenever I'd replace batteries it was just put in and go. I'm sure in 4 years when this battery dies, I'll be sure to charge it before putting it in.

    Gonna go ahead and post this update. I never charged the battery manually because after about 4 days of daily driving and some highway, the battery charged up with the alternator and the alert cleared.

    Why did you go with a H8 over H7. I looked and the specifications were exactly the same between the 2 so I went with the H7 due to it being a bit cheaper

    HMM, I am going to go throw it on a charger at my brother's house then and see what happens. I bought it from Walmart on Monday and threw it in the truck on Tuesday. It's a H7 Battery with a date code of 09/25. I am a bit shocked it doesn't come fully charged, but Hopefully a charge up will fix...

    Not 100% sure, but I think the connectors are all the same, Just shaped differently. My 2015 had the same connectors and button sizes for both 2 button and 1 button layouts.
