Finally got them installed yesterday. Very easy 4 screw removal and install. 5-10 minute job and that includes finding the T-25 bit to take the old screws out. Haven’t tested them securing anything yet but they seem pretty sturdy, strong enough for a few 5 gallon gas cans or propane tanks...
Installed them yesterday, finally. Super easy install, however, the tape did not stick to at least one side on each one due to the flexible nature of the vent. Maybe a redesign for the tape to go all around or maybe on the rounded sides as well. Otherwise they are like what the truck should...
Latex for me. In my experience latex tends to hold up better (probably perceived bias). This would be perfect for all the odd shaped stuff a truck can carry.
They would be perfect to secure gas cans etc. to keep them from moving around. Sign me up.
What is the weight rating for these? And is the hardware stainless or just coated steel?
