Cool! I'll be ordering the inverter pretty soon (already have the bed panel waiting in the garage). Then I'll get the software figured out from there. Thanks again for sharing the info!
This is amazing! Right after I picked up my '21 PB (in July '21) with the 2.4 kW, my wife decided a TT would be a good idea. I've been searching on and off for proof that the swap could be done since then! Do you happen to have any step-by-step breakdown, videos, etc. of your exact procedure...
Another simple thing you can do is crank it up, toss your keys in the back seat, hop out and close front door as usual, then open your rear door and grab your keys. Sounds a bit crazy, but it works.
Alright folks, I've got a RWD PB 157" with the Falcon tow/haul level kit. Front looks great, but since I only added the new shocks to the rear without a lift it now has a slight squat that I'm not fond of. Since I only want about 1.25" to 1.5" of lift on the back end I'm thinking of slapping...
Have had 295/60/20 Recon Grapplers on a 2.5" level for just over a month now and still able to use the electric drive. I will admit it doesn't stay there as long as stock but still engages just fine. I expected that and a small reduction in mpg with the new stance and tire weight. Maybe some...
Thanks! I went with the Falcon Tow/ Haul level kit. Quite a bit pricey, but I have plans for a TT down the road so I figured I may as well cross two things off at once.
Good info here! I went with the 2.4 kW system just like you guys and ended up looking for a TT after it was too late to update my order. I'd love to be able to retrofit it to the 7.2 kW setup too, but just like some of you, the search for parts and such has been fruitless. Until then, this looks...
Noticed that these U-bolts are more squared than the rounded type on my RWD PB. Is there an option for the rounded bolts that can be included with this kit?
Well I'll be damned, just got word from my dealer today! Delivery date JUST changed in the tracker today too. Of course, it gets there while I'm out of town and still has to sit for a few more days before I can finally take it home, SMH. Anyways, here's a bit of good luck/ hope for everyone else...
